Since it's founding in 1981, Highland has had a diverse student body, encompassing a variety of age groups. Over the years our students have come from a variety of states and two foreign countries (Japan and France). The school has also hosted traveling school groups from France and other parts of the U.S. Highland's small size and unique organization enables each student to have an important role in creating the character of the school.

Graduates of The Highland School have gone on to pursue their interests in colleges and universities such as Marlboro College, Miami University of Ohio, Salem-Teikyo University, and West Virginia University. Highland graduates have also gone on to fulfilling careers in business and industry.

The Highland School is an equal opportunity educational institution and is proud to have a history of students from a variety of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.
